Jencie A. Richtman

After receiving her Juris Doctor degree, Jencie A. Richtman joined her father in practice at Churchill, Quinn, Richtman & Hamilton.  During law school, Jencie was involved with internal mock trial competitions, both as a competitor and as a judge. She also judged the law school’s closing argument competition and NIU’s undergraduate mock trial competition. Jencie participated in an Advanced Trial Advocacy class which led her to compete in a national mock trial external competition, organized by the American Association for Justice.

During law school, Jencie worked with her Rule 711 license at a clinic in Rockford where she assisted clients with their estate planning needs and represented domestic violence clients in court. Through these experiences, Jencie has developed a deep passion for advocacy. While Jencie plans to focus her career in probate and estate planning, she hopes to develop her practice with an open-mindedness to other areas of law and an eagerness to become the greatest possible advocate for her clients.
