In
1903, R.W. Churchill, founded the law firm with several firmly held
beliefs of what a law practice is and how it should be run. Knowing
that an attorney is an integral part of the fabric of the community,
he committed himself to delivering honest and competent legal
services in a timely fashion. He emphasized personal service and
involvement in his community.
His
son George Churchill joined him in practice in 1940 and after
serving in World War II, returned to the practice of law in 1945.
R.W. Churchill's grandson, John Baumgartner, joined in 1960. George’s
sons Robert and William began as lawyers with the Chicago area law firm in
1972 and 1977 respectively.
